Updates Remember that you have up to 48 hours to complete the incident report after the incident has occurred. However, families should be contacted by the end of the day. There have been several scrutiny from families across several grade levels regarding the safety of their children. Let’s be responsive and not take the criticism lightly. We need to be alert and vigilant. Especially during recess once again. Bus Driver Changes: The following buses have changed drivers. Anticipate delays. For the next several days. Conferences All teachers are expected to hold report card/winter conferences with ALL families of students in your classroom. These may be conducted in person or remotely based on family preferences. Conferences may occur anytime between December and January 13th. I strongly encourage folks to do them before the break. You do not need a physical copy of the report card. You may use student work, assessment data, and your own anecdotal data to discuss students’ progress. Please have a generic 1-pager ready for families with ways they can support, including accessing resources on the clever backpack. Here are some additional resources you may want to provide: | ||||||||||||||
