Incident Reports:

Remember that you have up to 48 hours to complete the incident report after the incident has

occurred. However, families should be contacted by the end of the day. 


There have been several scrutiny from families across several grade levels regarding the

safety of their children. Let’s be responsive and not take the criticism lightly. We need to be

alert and vigilant. Especially during recess once again. 


Bus Driver Changes:

The following buses have changed drivers. Anticipate delays. For the next several days.



Conferences

All teachers are expected to hold report card/winter conferences with ALL families of students

in your classroom. These may be conducted in person or remotely based on family

preferences. Conferences may occur anytime between December and January 13th. I

strongly encourage folks to do them before the break. You do not need a physical copy of the

report card. You may use student work, assessment data, and your own anecdotal data to

discuss students’ progress. Please have a generic 1-pager ready for families with ways they

can support, including accessing resources on the clever backpack. Here are some additional

resources you may want to provide:

Did you know that the BPS Early Childhood Department has compiled a digital library of all

Focus book titles from K0 through 2nd grade? Check it out here!Be sure to read the disclaimer on the first slide for pertinent information regarding use.

I hope to learn today about Mr. Lopez’s return. There are three meetings scheduled this week

with two tomorrow. By the end of the day, there will be a determination whether or not the

meetings will take place tomorrow.
