Communication Log
I want to thank you all for completing the communication tracker and the amount of communication that you are having with families! Just today we have highlighted several families that we are concerned about and need additional support. We have been able to put plans in motion for some of them and others we will continue to follow-up with.
It is important that we have information about technology, internet access, and food. I have a tracker where I can see how many and what families have signed up for a Chromebook and when their delivery is scheduled. We have had 22 families request Chromebooks.
Spirit Week
One of the ideas that I am seeing online is the idea of a virtual spirit week. Keri has put together this idea for a Lee Academy Spirit Week. (Thank you, Keri) Students could send pictures to any of us and we could share if we have permissions, on the school's social media sites and our learn at home website. It will be a fun way to lift everyone's spirits.
Mouse Party
One thing that I learned being in the building yesterday is that the mice are taking over. We are laying multiple traps that will be gone by the time we are allowed in the building. I thought some of you might find this interesting.
The building is closed. If there is an EMERGENCY, Bill is working a reduced schedule of Tuesday and Thursday mornings.
Something Fun
As we all adjust to working from home and trying to parent at the same time. I thought we could all relate to this Jimmy Fallon Tonight Show Clip. Looking forward to seeing you and your families tomorrow.
